Guys what's ur strategy to farm perfect hide?I don't have swamp unlocked yet

Kill an elk ..I almost killed an elk but I got killed lol.

Without swamp , the only way is to hunt mature predators beyond the bridge . And you can get small amount of it in daily quests too

I used to farm in Shallow Lake by killing mature animals. Sometimes, if I had coins, I would buy 60 from Southern traders. However, I recommend trading your T4 leather for T5 in Silverton. In my opinion, that's more efficient. You can grind T4 leather in Northern Lake, with the worker camp nearby, saving a lot of energy and farming 300 leather in 25 minutes or less. Make 100 T4 leather and trade them all for 20 T5 leather. If you can spare the sugar and weapons, Shallow Lake remains the best option for T5 leather make sure you have southern neighbour nearby.

If you have enough spirit

I’d say go south and just pit the animals against each other

Use gunslinger set and then just crouch into range to bring your tamed one near a hostile one

Walk away uncrouch and crouch again and they will fight each other (you have to basically bring your tamed animal into the sight of the non tamed one, so when you uncrouch it will aggro it to protect you.)

Keep repeating this and yoy can farm basically every hostile animal like leopards and bears and jaguars. Also do this for the normal tier 4 animals

It’s energy efficient as you can trade up those hides as well

Kill buffaloes at mountain lake and shallow lake and make thick leathers, trade for strong leathers in Silverton, best way other than swamps
