Just to say that whatever your decision is it can be reset any time (for 100 coins i think).
Yes, I agree with rumo, if yoy decide that you didn t use your status point well, you can reset. I would say that you should trying maxing speed/ defense/ spirit first, then the attack. The most important, i think, is the speed attack
I started on Friday and I am enjoying spirit, but attack speed make sense if u have more weapon and no animals around
for beginners, spirit is the best stat.
Agreed! I wish I had known that when I first started - it saves you a load of repair costs!
spirit first to avoid the many many animals- remember 5 spirit higher than animal level to avoid attack
I need to reset my stats, have always gone spirit and am 20 over the max of 110
my rings/amulet are atk, atk speed
well to spice up this topic lemme just say that i've invested all my stats into damage and have never changed them ๐ i'm now lvl 111 and still happy with that choice. it made me save lots of guns by just sneak killing everything possible with my lvl 40+ T5 bows. one can argue that this becomes obsolete in the T4 and especially T5 areas. but i've always found a way to get along with my decision. saving ressources (by saving guns and armor) was always my main strategy.
You must do great in Canyon Trials..
lol
Yeah i reccomend spirit for beginners and people who want to farm
And atk spd for everything else
I also reccomend throwing a few points into defense, maybe like 5-10 points
i suppose u r being ironic, but here s the thing: i do CT every 2 days and reach lvl 28 with ease each time (and it only costs me 1 sheriff + 1 gunslinger set and also i save lots of strong guns there, being able to use bowie knives and berettas in many situations). i know its not a viable strat for gold league 1, but i havent reached that yet (i started playing in oktober and i'm doing the lvl 28 CT only for a couple weeks now). i am currently in gold IV and so far do reach 1st rank each time.
It just proves that anyone can pass 28 waves having leveled T5 rare armor/weapons (+jewelry+backpacks). Stat points are not critical at this stage yet.
Thats great for someone that started in Oct. Then i suppose your trench is not yet lvl 5. In that case thats a good strategy to stop at 28. Fyi i reach 30 with only half sheriff and i have all points on speed/def.
i wasnt questioning the speed stat strat at all. i know that at some point i need to go for it in order to do CT on higher waves. just saying that i'm doing ok in CT with my current strat ๐
also my main goal is doing CT with less gun part costs. as i want to lvl my jewelry asap.
putting points on def makes me wonder if those stat points actually count more than the def points from armor? i mean doesnt wearing a lvl 5+ sheriff set kinda make lvling def obsolete? at least in comparison to speed? what am i not seeing here?
btw: my trench is lvl 3 only and wave 27 is my nemesis so far.
120 spirit should be enough
.
So what rings do you use? They are also DMG stat?
i have 2 rings with +15 dam and 2 with +15 speed. so for CT i use the speed rings and for the sneaky farming runs i prefer the dam rings. in T5 areas i also use the speed rings though, as sneak killing is obviously nonsense in that area lol
my goal is to reach certain thresholds with my sneak damage, to be able to deal enough damage with bows to oneshot enemies and not trigger bystanding mobs. in T3 areas i can sneak kill all but gang leaders and those tanky dudes. in T4 areas i use the carbine (or a quick T4 melee wpn) for finishing blows after sneak attacking with a bow. saves me a lot of guns. but takes a bit more time ofc.
That's cool, I might try dmg stat๐
go get a strong enchanted bow then hahaaa
First damage is done to your sheriff, rest is removed from your health applying the reduction factor from defense skill points, jewelry and backpack. In other words, your sheriffs defense and and the skill points on defense have different purposes.
wow thats super counterintuitive considering the fact that one only gets an additive value from all the factors shown as "defense" stat...good to know and thx for the clarification. wish the devs didnt hide such important facts.
i'm sure someone already did the maths on how much damage is absorbed by armors and how much is absorbed by the rest (jewelry, stats backpack). if anyone knows those numbers, i'd totally love to see them ๐
Its in the official wiki.
thx didnt read that before ๐
but i guess my point still stands, its not at all obvious to see for anyone who doesnt study the wiki or asks some pro players ๐
Exactly, everyone has a unique playstyle, so it's crucial to tailor your stat choices to what suits your preferred approach in the game. Stick with what works best for you!
well thats fine and all, but misses the critique i made in that same post ๐
ppl would have an easier time choosing their play style if they didnt think, basic def stat is the same as armor def stat. i just told that to my alliance mates and many of them were surprised to know there is a difference
Yeah, but it also boost your def percentage, which is helpful for alliance defender during attacks or doing wave like 35 to get extra points.
in case of alliance defending i could imagine having put all points into speed would make more of a difference. but i cant prove that. just a thought
oh and then there s also the next question lol: which def value is relevant for armor penetration? ๐ is it just armor def or both? or is it the added value of armor and basic def? we may get off topic here, but i hope this discussion will be usefull for ppl who (like me) just learned the difference in defence
edit: i guess i should check the wiki first....
edit 2: no mention of penetration in the wiki...
edit 3: ok found something in an update message: "Armor Penetration Damage โ Starting from Tier 4, both your and your enemy's weapons will now have additional Armor Penetration Damage, allowing them to bypass armor. This enhancement will make battles more engaging and thrilling, plus it reduces the impact of losing one of the four armor items."
so i assume it means that pen only bypasses armor def?
in that case it makes sense to invest into def for alliance protection....still i'd love to know whether speed would make more sense ๐
With attackers being real players armed with heavy-hitting guns and boosted by food buffs, defenders can be taken down in just a few shots. The recent additions by the developers, like increased damage and armor penetration, make a strong defense stat even more vital. It's essentially the defense that helps defenders withstand the onslaught, ensuring they don't get wiped out easily and allowing them to hold onto valuable resources like gold.
and lets move to #๐ค cowboy-chat sry guys
I haven't reached 120.But 95 that's after the food spirit buff .I can get a hundred atleast if i use my elf gear set cause each piece gives +2 spirit .But i don't use it
I haven't gotten ATtk ring since my first which was a +3 atk lol.I want know they help with them little troublesome beasts that don't give you a break.I use my leather boots for them stages cause its +25 speed
if u mean the huge crowd at wave 5, here u need a shotgun (i use the T3 rare beretta cuz its the cheapest) and preferably a lot of attack speed. so if we r talking about easy CT, then speed is what u should focus on. if u wanna save guns (like me) then u might wanna try investing all points into damage, so u can use cheaper guns or even bowie knives for many of the early waves. btw: i never crafted any of my knives, they r all donated to me by the mobs that try to raid ma base 1-2x a day ๐
I use the barretta. And my fast fast load shot gun for them.I have 83 spirit normal.I decided from now on is speed and damage
Yeah.lol i get so much i dismantle them and make fur .
