Such a joke 😆 When I needed to kill buffaloes for BP task, shallow lake which usually has 2-3 had one, sometimes none at all! I did multiple runs to find no or low populations of buffalo.
After I completed the BP task of gaining fillet meat from buffaloes, suddenly shallow lake was teeming with them!!!
I ran around the tree as I lured each of them to be finished off by my bear.

You get the pet dish at the Old Road event. The event is either level 80 or 100. Don't do 100 unless you have great gun. Before accepting the even, first run through the length of the road and kill whatever you can; bandits, black wolves etc. Then go back to the wagon and accept the challenge. It will be much easier this way. And stay around the wagon as some bandits will try to destroy it. You can't let it get destroyed so you are protecting yourself and the wagon.
