This is not your typical recruitment post. I am offering a different kind of deal - temporary alliance membership for the exchange of resources for gold

Not everyone has a playstyle that fits into the demanding requirements of an alliance. Being that in terms of resource donation or participation into attack/defence.
In addition, without strict donation rules, levelling up and start producing gold takes forever.

Any player without an alliance normally faces these two common issues: 1) lack of gold (for epic blueprints, land, opening the East, etc) and 2) they have no rational ways of spending certain types of resources that usually are drained into the alliance. If you relate to this, then this post is for you.

I am thus offering those players the opportunity to join my alliance temporarily and collect gold in exchange for some resources.

Required materials and exchange rates:
Cypress Board 15 : 1
Ash Board 40 : 1
Nickel ingot 4 : 1

The method:

  1. Agree terms with me here on Discord
  2. Apply to the alliance
  3. Join for the agreed timeframe
    Repeat until over
    4 Donate the agreed resources
    5 Collect gold
  4. Leave
  5. Go back to 1, if desired.

Example use case:
You are sitting on a pile of ash boards which are not useful to you. Lets say 800. And you would prefer some gold instead.
Looking at the exchange rates above (40 : 1), I will give you 20 gold nuggets for that. Since my alliance produces 40 nuggets/24h and I am the only member, when you join we both get 20 each so you only need to be a member for 24h to get that amount. Then after agreeing the timeframe:

  1. You apply to the alliance, I accept the application at the agreed time.
  2. Immediately after joining you donate the resources corresponding to the first 12 hours (400)
  3. You start collecting gold
  4. Before the 12h you donate the rest
  5. You continue collecting gold
  6. You leave the alliance once the 24h have been reached

FAQ
Q: Why are you doing this?
A: Because I am really nice. Not really. It's because I reached the end game and gold after some point becomes meaningless. At the same time I want to keep developing the alliance.

Q: Do you have a lot of gold?
A: I have enough.

Q: Don't you want permanent members? Why not?
A: No - don't ask. Because I invested thousands of hours of my own which I am not ready to share. Maybe in the future if we see some high level content being added to alliances.

Q: Are you going to scam me? Can't you kick me out immediately after the first donation?A: Yes i can kick you out whenever I want. It's the same as any other alliance. You can invest months/years in an alliance to be kicked out without notice. I want happy customers otherwise nobody is coming back, thus scamming you is against my interests.

Q: Do I need to set up alliance defenses?
A: No, I'll handle that.

Q: What if we get raided and i don't get the agreed gold amount?
A: Normally I am able to get everything back quickly in revenge attacks, so in theory you can even get some extra gold due to this. However, if i fail, I will let you stay longer to give you time to collect the amounts agreed upon. Don't forget that i need happy customers.

Q: How often can I collect gold?
A: The mine will produce between 20 nuggets per member (30 if i blow up some dynamite). That is 0.83 per hour. The safe can hold 12 nuggets so doing the math, you must check the safe every 13 hours otherwise it will be full and additional gold production will be lost.

Q: I was not able to login hence i could not collect gold before the safe was full. Can i stay longer to recover some of the losses?
A: No. We agree the timeframe upfront for a reason - to make sure you are available to collect the gold.
