I’ve got a bug today during the “West star” quest (Train part). The watchdog was not chosen as a target, so i couldn’t attack it or defend myself. And my tamed animal couldn’t attack watchdog as well. I’ve quited and reentered the location to resolve it and this worked.

I had this happen twice, both with watchdogs. They didn’t even show up on the mini map as little red arrows. The fix was the same, leave/re-enter.

The WS is getting more heavy for low end device. They fix it otherwise they will lose some audiences.

My phone is a high end device but when I play the game in mid graphics my phone temperature rise to 44°C some time 50°C .

Yes, that’s the problem.
5 years ago WS was running flawlessly on high settings. 4 years ago i switched to normal and 3 years ago to low. 2 years ago WS began to crash and i stoped playing for about a year. This summer i decided to check what was done and what’s new. WS was crashing on attempts to enter several locations. And after the “horse” update it started to crash even on attempt to enter the ranch. After 6.0 update WS was somewhat optimised and all gameplay features worked (though it still crashes constantly) but 6.1 almost “killed” the results of this optimisation.
Maybe it’s not needed to be written on my side, but i’m an honest and adequate man, so why not? The only technical statement from the devs was several years ago, when they wrote on one of the updates that WS “requires more than 1 Gb RAM from now on”. My device is twice higher, it has 2 Gb. So it is compatible with the stated requirements. But WS crashes and works unstable. That is why i do complain or do suggest smth on feedback. And here is the part i probably should not write: when the devs make a statement that WS requires more than 2 Gb i’ll stop complaining as my device is not compatible. But for now it is.
So, I’ll be glad if the devs:

  • would make a switch to turn of ingame chat (as for me WS is a game and not a messanger or social network);
  • would make an advanced settings menu, which would allow players to switch off shadows, reflectons, unnecessary animations, unnecessary staff (like frogs, birds, mices and so on).
    (An interesting thing on this point is that the barn on a ranch almost always causes a crash and requires me to make a fresh login into the game to use. And still it works 1 time of 3-5 attempts. But i’ve managed, that i can save some RAM by killing rabbits on my ranch and use the barn with more stability).
    Unnecessary staff can also be switched off automatically with presettings on “lowest” settings;
  • make any other necessary changes to reduce RAM requirements.

Interesting, I don’t have the crash problem with the barn but each time I visit the Silverton Corral I crash on first click no matter what. After reboot works fine. iOS.
