I haven’t played in a while and just started again. I’ve noticed random yellow bubbles over objects but they do nothing. One was at a shootout location and whatever the object was it started spinning after I clicked it but nothing happened. What are these?

Did it look like a Globe? If yes, it's for the new battle pass event. In every event (shootout, oldroad, emergency stop) is one globe. You need to push it. If you push 10 of these (10 events) you will get 130 golden appels which you can trade for good items in the battle pass.
