If cactus fruit can be stored in Food Storage why not bluebarries? Also pet baits can be stored but why not sugar?

There is seperated storage for that
Go into storage tab in building mode in order to build one

Then it's wrong with Cactus fruit? Both are similar but varies storage.

Agreed, it doesn't make a lot of sense. But at least there is separate storage for them.

yeah the food/ingredient/barn storage is kinda weird for now

raw meat is food but is also an ingredient.

hopefully they'll change it soon. cause it's been bothering me as well.
