Technically, It's not a bug, Is an issue of running animation Itself, the footstep sound event in frames are just located further in animation timeline. Fixers then need to interrupt overall running animations files (But because of how Croteam staff loves animating humanoid creatures, we should just forget about this issue). For me, they should just add a sound of how players starting to move/run/sprint, not only include footsteps in these states.
