GL doesn't care about cheater, because cheater are the fuel for your anger and a unhappy player is way better for GL than a happy player. The angry player play more games and watching ads then a happy player. Without cheaters GL would loose too much players. The report button is just a way to let you think you could change something that they don't even wanted to be changed. It's really easy to program auto detection of every run, but that would kill too much potential players. So don't think you can change something with reporting or posting here. They don't care about it!

Those little little cheats can't be completely eliminated otherwise GL will ban about 70% of its players. There are a lot of little cheats like disconnection to avoid points be deducted, instant respawn, account sharing, no wreck etc.

GL Server was sending you the inaccurate position of the Fury guy -> You and Fury guy (inaccurate position) reacted with each other in your phone -> You got decelerated -> however what your phone calculated is not a result from a accurate data -> what you saw in your phone actually didn't happened in Fury guy's phone -> Fury's guy's phone sends his position data to GL's server -> GL Server send your phone renewed Fury's position -> You see him as he is instantly respawning.
The video @cursive sun posted also shows how bad the ping problem is.

@warped smelt I understand what you are saying but it seems you don't understand the difference between antiwreck/respawn and server. during the race you will notice Antiwreck/respawn, but if it's server you won't notice it during race it's during replay you will see it. Again if it's respawn/wreck the car become ghost and that instant but if it's server they won't ghost with white shadow but red shadow

The truth is just that if you start considering those little cheats, innocent players will suffer it also because lagging and server can be deceiving. But some people are hiding under it

I heard that there is an antiwreck hack that you race as a white ghost the entire race. In hacker's phone, hacker's cars is moving as a white ghost and doesn't interact with opponents phisically. In opponents' phone, the hacker is shown as a normal player(not white or red ghost) but you can't knockdown them.
If ping is bad, you can notice it because some will drive like they are drunk (but with no deceleration) or occasionally turining to a ged ghost or make an unnatural move (which is physically incapable under normal condition) or sometimes popping Wi-fi icon above their car.

I don't think instantly turning red ghost is a sign of a hack, because i've seen it so occasionally since British Season, even with the players I know

I've raced this player before and they're clean, just because he got placed in a different spot due to a bad connection doesn't mean they hack.

The lag compensation was moving their car before it automatically moved them to where they actually were on their end.

These players are on Windows and part of the well known race teams of the game.
Stop reporting players because they're better than you or that you have a poor connection preventing it from looking real
