Hi! Of course that we are doing our best to fix the TD issue. It was an unexpected occurrence that was triggered because of the hotfix. For this to be fixed, we need to send another hotfix or update to Nintendo. Unfortunately, Nintendo does not accept any more uploads in their tool until January next year because they'll be on holiday so they won't be able to review any new builds. We are aware that this is unfortunate and we would want nothing more than to fix it now if it were possible. 😦 Thank you for your understanding!

Do you also aware that some players keep encountering error code 2 when loading after that hotfix? And some even get software error report and game crashes just after launching. Some tries to reinstall and fix it but some not.

I've noticed some small graphical bugs in offline mode. They are not game-breaking in any way, but I'd like to report them here.
Here, I'm in a regular race in offline mode, and yet clocks from Time Attack races still appear (on the right here). They have absolutely no effect when I pick them.
When doing regular races in career mode and in the same circuits, for example, they do not appear, as expected.

Normally, when you lose a Pursuit Race, a message tells you why ("You ran out of time!", "You got wrecked!" or "You were too slow!").
Here, still in offline mode, the three messages seem to appear simultaneously and are drawn on top of each other.
(I've noticed the bug doesn't seem to happen in English because the three messages have similar lengths on-screen, but it does happen in French, and maybe in other languages too.)

I've noticed that too. The only exception is when you change your camera mode using the right stick.
This one is more a mistranslation than anything. The "Retry" button in offline mode has been mistranslated here to "Revoir", when "Recommencer" is more appropriate.
"Revoir" would actually fit the Replay mode (camera button on this screen).

About deleting the data: After deleting it, when launching game in online mode with Nintendo account attached, progress is not wiped out (including career, events and modes that are play online), except progression on Quick Race mode which is not include the syncing progression. The progress you made in Quick Race will be wiped and you have to start your timing again since it's an offline-enabled mode and there are no rewards involved. @dense harness

Match making in multiplayer is ridiculous. When you are at the top of a league you have to race against people in the next league which can be really hard. For example in silver league if you are using a 370z that is ranked 900 you have to go against 7 1800 ranked Lamborghini Astreons (the astreon is one of the easiest cars to get in the game). And even if not in the top of the league you still have to race against cars that are 3 stared and max rank. My suggestion is to make cars that are lower ranked to be less penalized when they lose against highly ranked cars. And for highly ranked cars to be awarded less when winning against cars that are way below their rank
And also can we have the same events as Mobile and windows

I had a race today where I clearly came second yet it placed me in third place. Second place was miles behind even in the replay. It has happened a few times. Twice in career and twice in mp. I have an issue related to this... and related to the famous Joy-Con drift. As you may know, this is the stick registering incorrect inputs when you're actually not touching it at all, due to wear off.
I usually play using the d-pad, but if the stick drifts (even just a little), it overrides my inputs with the d-pad, and I basically lose control of my car. Not great in the middle of a race, right?
I think there's a solution used by other games: if the stick and the d-pad are sending inputs simultaneously, the strongest of the two is used in-game.

@open finch the Famous Joy-Con drift is caused by the dirt & etc in the analogue sticks that my get into it overtime. To prevent the problem is to get new Joy-Cons, or clean it once in a while with a Q-tip & alcohol. You can find videos how to do that over on YouTube.

@echo raft That has been like that since late summer. Everyone joining must verify through AltDentifier. That was due to problems we have had in the past where 1 person was banned 24 times & Discord had to be brought into the problem directly to finally ban them permanently. Even the IP bans that is what happens when we use Discord commands to ban a person was not working-- the person was using VPN or proxies, or both, to evade bans by circumventing the IP bans.

So, I think I've found an issue. When u set specific camera type in the main menu options it should stay that way and u should start every race with this specific camera type set. However it doesn't work for me, I've set an action camera in the settings and I still start every race with the steady one and have to switch manually.

Has anybody had a car they bought blueprints for in the legends store but as soon as you buy all 5 blueprints the blueprints doesn't show up for over a week or more ? That's what's happening to me with the Pininfarina H2 Speed . I bought 5 blueprints last Saturday so now I have 5 left and now it's not popping in the legends store anymore . Note , for my switch , this car (before I bought the blueprints) would show up after 2 days of being gone . I bought the blueprints and now it's gone . It has not comeback . Regarding the issue with the game not starting up: Simple fix - delete or archive the game, then reinstall it on the built in system memory of the Nintendo Switch.
Note: After deleting/archiving be sure to power off the Switch console and remove the Mirco SD memory card before reinstalling, otherwise by default the game will install to the Micro SD card again. Once it’s done you’re ok to put the memory card back in and enjoy arguably the best car racing game currently available on Nintendo Switch.

Don't think there's anyone to actually contact for this server error. Just seems to be ruining the holidays for us, no holiday racing, it sure is a shame to fallen during the holiday season when so many people got the switch for a gift and download this game. Losing tons of revenue and potential long time players. I've been playing for some time now and unable to put average numbers up unfortunately. Discouraging to say the least. Does anyone's camera setting not work for them? For example, In the settings, I've set mine to "close" camera but it always stays at "steady" when entering a race. It's really annoying.

@rotund trout are you referring to in-game words? If that's the case, please note that all Gameloft games have the same system when it comes to the "bad words" that are used in the in-game chat and for that to change it requires massive restructuration that would take lots of time.

@covert crown It's club chat. A lot of words get muted. I even typed the word "happened" and it got muted. You have to understand, nobody is offended by those words so I don't understand why they get muted.

I understand perfectly and it is a situation that has been reported in the past as well. Now, please understand that all games need to implement the same list of muted words, in all languages. Chances are that the word you mentioned has nasty meanings in other languages and that's the reason why it has been added to the list. I am simply saying that this cannot have a quick fix. The team dealing with this is aware of the situation and looking for possible workarounds and fixes.

I didn't think about the other languages thing. It makes sence now. Explains why some words get muted that I thought shouldn't be muted.

Steering with Dpad on Nintendo Switch, Dpad becomes unresponsive.
Seems intermittent, it works sometimes then cuts out during skids around corners while holding ZL and Dpad right for example, which results in you just going straight after initiating the skid. Ive lost countless races to this and had to wait for fuel as a result on the higher rank cars

Regarding the Dpad issue Im having.
(Dpad becomes unresponsive in races)
I have restarted the game and have not touched the analogue sticks to navigate the menus or use in races. The dpad is working as it should. Maybe there is some conflict between using the sticks for navigating menus, and then trying to use the Dpad in races?
I usually use the sticks to navigate the menus for applying import parts and expanding where to get cards for a certain car etc.

If sliding around a corner with ZL, ZR and a dpad direction held, any input on the right analogue stick (left and right controls camera) will knock you out of your slide, causing you to go straight on, ignoring the inputs. I don't accidentally hit off the right analogue stick, so I am not sure why this is happening, but the right analogue stick is definitely the culprit

@past apex It's happened to me plenty of times. I thought it was because of online lag, but it happened to me during a daily event. I drove straight into the water. I had to double check the replay to see if I was hit by the AI, but nope.

This issue has persisted since release. Here's what happened: I won a race in multiplayer, went to a9 home screen, then the screen saying "you entered silver league" popped up, and some club rewards were unlocked. I go to the club rewards screen, claim everything, exit the menu, and then the "you have entered silver league" screen pops up yet again.

Please fix the games physics especially in multiplayer... Instead of doing a barrel roll the car awkwardly did a backflip and crashed... This is just one of the scenario I lost quite a few points cause of this... Kindly look into it

I can't even start the doggone game, this started yesterday. Before that it worked fine, now it's not. I've had many issues with it before, but most it's not that big of a deal, but this, not so much. I mean almost any game on any platform has glitches and bugs and whatnot, so I'm not new to that, and most I can find a workaround for, but when you can't start the game, regardless of the game, that's when it's too much. So please fix ASAP. When you think that it's fixed, please send me a direct message, also do so if you need more info, with instructions on how to find, and thus give you it. Thanks in advance.

@dense harness I also had the issue and did that. I also turned off promos (in Game Settings, the icon at upper right on the main screen) at someone's suggestion, and it lessened the reoccurrence a LOT. It appears the promos are often the cause of the impossibility to launch, at least for me.

Had a bug just now where switched to touchcontrol mid race (i know its accel bugged) and lost control of pro controller completely. (Ended race by pressing home key mid race)
Following race happened again when i forgot to turn it off. When i turned off touchdrive i got touch to steer popup while in car select menu while Switch docked. When race ran it had touch to steer locked on (still docked)
Ultimately had to close client to reset it. Upon reset it correctly recognized touchdrive settings.

Not to me. It usually causes me to wreck and screws up my mp races. It's most noticeable on that map with the construction on it (don't know the name) where there's a regular ramp and then a drift turn followed by another reg ramp/barrel roll ramp combo.

@wary crag I disabled the promos at someone's suggestion, and it lessened incidences of that a LOT for me. It has only happened once since and it recovered by itself in a few minutes.
