You can kind of anticipate when he's going to Shockwave ram you by listening for faint Nitro audio cues - if you listen carefully, you can hear your opponent using none, basic, orange or Perfect Nitro, since they have their own "burn" sound; it might be slightly hard to distinguish them at first tho.
As for gauging when he's drifting... it's impossible to know if he's drifting or not, since there's no audio cues for drifting.

@blazing goblet Gameloft have many ways of slowing peoples progress down. It's all about pushing people to spend money and to play more. Only now they say they are going to fix the servers. How long has the game been out? All they need to do is ping players and don't let people play if their ping is to high. Game dev's have been doing that for years.

If you're talking about any Class A/S car, the Vulcan should be your first Class A car, and you can get it within 3d if you really push Career
It probably also includes Rush, since "next MP seasons" includes all future MPs for now

No one attempted to shockwave on me or land on me or any crazy stuff like that. The only casualty was when I ground 360ed to get more nitro bottles and knocked down someone in the process.

Again, most of them didn’t play dirty, but someone tried to knock me down with Shockwave. I was using Perfect nitro, but the shockwaver came right beside me just as his nitro ran out so I ended up knocking HIM down.
