It’s generally the reason I can’t take top ‘skill’ clubs seriously. Yes, there’s the occasional member of those teams that will roflstomp you regardless of the car they’re in compared to your car, but most of them just spam the op cars and think they’re good at the game or something. Frankly, I wonder why I still bother playing this game when there’s so many tryharding pro scrubs flailing around trying to get an extra position when they’ll still fail to get into top 3. Maybe when the Switch version comes out I’ll meme something fierce and then get so good at the Ford GT that I’ll start wrecking any Corvette that dares show its mug around my GT. Glorious.

Rush MP, you vs 4 bots and 3 maxed Corvettes. Put up 200-300 pts/day at least to stay in the top 3K

Special season, that features a car to show off how good it is. But, there is a hard line at elite; the first 3 days of the season elite+ are 1 on 1's vs. aliens and hackers, and the master line is so high its pointless to try unless you have a ton of time and nothing to do.

Monocar season to show off upgrades. But it uses basic cars to show off "skills", really is little more than hacker MP. Not unusual to go 10 races in a row facing at least 1 hacker.

In the good old days, 1000-5000 people made legend/master every season. Nowadays its like 100-150, or everybody even kind of trying in the other seasons. There is no middle ground.

i just had a race where i was close to losing to 3* Hurracan with my GS. Pretty much full race was stuck behind me like a slipstream while i was 95% of the track in the perfect nitro and shows mostly only top speed of 349kmh

Whirlwind curve is funny to me. Everyone goes left. 19/20 players. However due to barrel logjam, only 1-2, maybe a 3rd if they are really lucky will beat a car that goes right at the start out of the curve drift.
