To get near the top in a Rush season requires the garage to get there (need lots of viable gas), the skills to get there (you need to get 36/24/23 points most races when you get a full lobby), and you need to play a lot. Take away any of those ingredients and its not going to work. You can't just tryhard your way to the top, because someone better with a better garage is probably tryharding too.

Aperta seems like it will be a really decent car at mid-stars. Unless of course you have a max 570s/BC/918/AvJ, in which case its just a better J50 until you can actually star it up to be competitive with the max A class kings. Aperta will be the king at 6 stars, but it isn't until its possible to get a 6 star copy.
