For every person (like me) who has an awful drop rate, there is another who gets 20/100 or more. Kind of like gameloft is testing spending patterns of people who need to star up vs people who need to unlock. Call me cynical but A/B tests are common place everywhere.
All things being equal there is no way certain players should get 10x more than others
