/rant tldr new version sucks. I am a long time team captain, and I would like to make it really plain that the new version of the game is NOT better than the old one; there are performance issues, the new Singapore track is awful, and oh yeah the upgrade was so bad I lost half my team . . . . I had to uninstall the game to install the upgrade, which by itself is really poor. It was a complete hassle and it took me days to get it right. The simple layout to show the club members and their scores has been buried beneath layers of clicks to find it; the BACK button is in the worst possible location on the screen for WIndows users; there are too many events to deal with; the pay wall is wider and bigger; and oh yeah literally half of my team - 10 people all productive, all pulling together - has vanished. There is no question in my mind that the simplest reason they are gone is because the update was a complete disaster; and they either failed totally or gave up trying to fight the game to install it. Thanks heaps GL, you have basically destroyed my team. /rant

hey, i am not aware it this has already been issued here or something but i think i found a visual bug in career. so like there is an task needed to be completed for a flag and you complete it, it turns green. but when something else comes in the side like shockwave or something like that, that too is green, the same colour as when a flag required task turns when its been done.

Well after that I found out the solution is using google play game beta, android simulator or android x86 (android system for pc or laptop) to play the game, those would work since the android version of the game doesn't have any DirectX feature level requirement

WSA might work as well (Windows Subsystem For Android, which allows android apps to directly run on Windows without simulator)

Your CPU and GPU does not meet the minimum system requirements for optimal performance in ALU, even though it supports DirectX 12 it's quite weak, also make sure you use the Very Low graphics quality preset (but you will probably experience a lot of lag anyway, and the game is quite unoptimized at the moment so you could try with the next update)

ALU is more demanding as it got visual improvements (such as dynamic lighting) so it's not the same as A9, but you may be able to run it well with upcoming updates if there's good enough optimizations but we don't know if there will be

@sweet quarry or anyone else from Asphalt team. Game news said that ads are back on Windows, but still no multiplier at the end of a race? All I see are ads for free packs, which give TC's for me... Meanwhile that, the usual ones (Android and iOS) have got and still have ads to multiply credits at the end of races, had during the last season ads to get free tokens and credits... To be fair with everybody, multiplier ads should be removed and the multiply factor should be "injected" automatically in a random way, in all platforms, just like it was back in Asphalt Xtreme. I'm sorry, but I'm fed up with that. It's the end for me. Stay well and goodbye.

From my tests across all graphics quality presets the performance has improved, just not drastically, there are still some issues like with the motion blur and reflections if enabled, otherwise other stuff seems to work fine if you have the specs that meets the game's minimum requirements for optimal performance (listed on the game's support website)

@sweet quarry From all the bugs the current controller issue is by far the worst. It makes the game extremely unfair. By the way, I'm not quite sure if this is really just an input lag. The major difference is a much wider drift radius for all cars. It really feels like the handling of all cars have become significantly worse. Maybe that helps the devs to investigate this issue and prepare a fix ASAP. Thanks!

I don't think the controller issue is a bug. I think it's a unannounced try by the company to balance gameplay for all platforms. A lot of people on mobile. Think controllers give an unfair advantage.

Try the Repair option in Windows settings for the game, if that doesn't work you can also try the Reset option, if that doesn't work either then you may have to reinstall the game

Edited my earlier post. It isn't cloudfare's anti malware DNS (which makes sense since I used my phone's hotspot and still had the problem). It's the Windows setting that allows apps to use advertising id. Makes sense that the bugginess of this Windows update is going to be related to advertising.

Let me give you some suggestions. Change the font, reduce the menus, reduce the shockwave full screen color, add the text panel to the left like the old A9, move the game back button to the top left, simplify the game's general colors as they are too intense, reduce the system requirements (hundreds of people can't enter the game because of this), if you add menus to the space at the top, it will be faster to access (like clubs or members)

Very relevant question indeed, i think what any player would want is reverting back to the old A9 version, even the best of players started leaving the game already due to these issues so far and from my own club as well, over all game is broken from each and every corner, and all these issues have already been discussed for the last 2 months, and in this update the team murdered the controller players too that they even gave up on the game

the issue is that when you enter the drift...the car drifts at around 25% of its drift radius for a short while and then proceeds to work on input...and idk how increasing sens helps it...

WTF, update made game worse, can't control cars, all bouncy and camera not steady, (world shakes) shifting angles (for nitro boost and ramps). Still navigation issues as it sometimes dissapears (lost 150 tokens because of being stuck on skip and no way of seeing it) (change color and larger border (does not need to flash)). Another issue is this overclock feature. its not a set of cars, but every car I use after 1st use then needs a overclock to complete task. (last season when does a 5 star car need a overclock to do a 2 star task, all 10 cars for both season events( does not include the daily events cars and MP), how many cars use a overclock per season? (number of chips given per season does not even come close to the amount cars that need it) supposed to give boost not nerf the car. The Legend store, why still offering epic parts for cars already completed.
