If that plan goes ahead, then I'm out. I'm not in the mood of keep falling behind others that have that feature implemented. If they get ride of ads, atleast they should apply the multiplier automatically. It can't be that hard. When I played Asphalt Xtreme, we used to get credits for doing maneuvers like 360's, KD's, etc, and all was added in the end to get the final value. It was more complex than just having a fixed amount like we have in this game, but it was possible. So, in this one, they could do the same and apply the multiplier directly, in a random way.

According to me all of this was planned by gameloft. Gameloft knew that this update was way overrated and the release would result in just disappointment and thus a decrease in purchases. To prevent they created a DS with a S class king that all whales and pro will want. Even some players that spend less will try to get at least buggati bolide key . This will provide Gameloft enough money to last the whole year also there was the Devel Sixteen DS this year only. So gameloft will be pretty relaxed for the whole year. So it may be that the bugs reported now would be fixed at the end of the year. So as the famous verse says,"Hope for the best , Prepare for the worst"

Look at the second screen, you support the 11_1 feature set. You need 12_0 support. This specific graphics card should work if you roll back drivers to an old version as they removed dx12_0 support for security reasons.

Choose this option, it will open installation folder. There, you locate Asphalt9_Steam_x64_rtl, right click on it, show more options, properties, compatibility, and check the run this program as administrator. Apply, OK, and it's done. Everytime you launch the game, it will run as admin.

Tbh i like all the changes including graphics and UI. But the problem is due to high graphics we need atleast medium specs devices to run this now. I have high spec PC and medium specs laptop. Laptop can't play smoothly even with very low settings now but before it was medium settings and was smooth and atleast can playable so they will may fix it in upcoming updates according to the devices and all our feedbacks but that's not easy so they need time. We have to wait patiently 😧

Have you checked Windows Update in settings? Your OEM delivers updated graphics drivers for your Intel iGPU via there, make sure the latest one is installed (don't update the driver from the Intel Graphics Command Center as those are generic drivers, OEM-configured drivers are better)

I have come to the assumption that along with turning off the ad's this is deliberate.

 All eip's for Ultima have to be paid for on application. Without OC this has to be done.
Another 2mil+ credits, without ads so the full 42mil credits have to be generated somehow.

Recreating the exact agony of the initial Ultima 'special hunt', but only for windows!?
I understood it was this in part that prompted the x12 & x20 multiplier ad's to be included for later special hunts,
and/or around other high credit cost events., is this incorrect?

Turning off OC for windows provides advantage to all other platforms wherever it can be used;
Virtually all leader board tle's and the relevant MP cars have OC applied.
So Impossible for fair competition using my 6yr old windows acc.

  All this if not just negligence it suggests Windows is being pushed to become obsolete [except via steam maybe]. With game transfer now easy to achieve; so migrate, if possible or quit. Are the f2p players with purchasing minnows and sardines, (along with regularly purchasing mackerel & salmons), making say 80-90% of players  not essential to give the 🦈 's & 🐳 's competition to race

You should download the Intel graphics driver from your OEM, in this case Asus, if you look up "asus x515jab" the support page with the drivers should be the first result, you can also look up "asus download center"

Asus also recommends their MyASUS app for driver updates and stuff

The game may be improved but what's the point if people have to go through all kinds of convoluted steps to install it. Then when GL come up with their no brainer logic of rebalancing cars because they are overpowered. They are behaving as if there is nothing which can beat devel when I've already seen so many devel users losing to cars like jesko, agera, etc. In that case then Panamera and McLaren F1, both these cars are overpowered in their respective classes(B and C class) and both of them were free, why not nerf these cars and claim this as a rebalance, crazy logic.

Navigation issues : What are you thinking by having the left stick (the steering and navigation) become a quick refill button also. its too easily to hit while nagitating the menu, causing inadvertantly spending of tokens. do not need a quick link to spend tokens on refill tickets, we can navigate there on our own. why are you messing with the control function of gamepads, they were working perfectly, there was no need to change the behavior of the joystick.

I helped the other person resolve their issue, the same might work for you, download and install the latest Intel graphics driver from your computer manufacturer and then restart your device, after that try playing the game again and see if your issue is resolved

If not, try reducing the fiddling with the graphics settings in-game to see if that changes anything, if that doesn't work either your only option might be to install the latest Intel graphics driver from Intel themselves using the Intel Driver & Support Assistant app

I've found a workaround. Try the following:

My windows user account is an admin account, so I simply set up a second user account under Windows. And with this account I was able to make payments in A9.

That helped me but this can't be the solution and GL need to fix this problem.

I don not know if I calculated correctly, but for the Lamborghini Countach special event, even if you have all the cars at max, if you do not have BMW M4 GT3 unlocked, you can not pass that stage. And if you want the BMW, you must participate in the very long and boring hunt, but in order to be allowed to waste a week non stop, you must first pay for the season pass. I might be a little confused here, but we are actually told as clear as possible that the game is exclusively pay to play , not even talk about win. The Unite update destroyed every aspect of the game, while not resolving any actual issues, like cheaters that now seem to be more, chat and many other former issues, while adding a lot others. How, might I ask, Gameloft expects to win the veteran players at least or new ones? Talking for myself, I will wait for a while to see if some of the problems are resolved or if the absolute greed of the producers would be reduced and then I'll forget about this game. But at least we have reflections on the road, that is revolutionary indeed.

to get your progress on steam from store version there are few steps to do

Sync Microsoft Store progress with Steam Version

• Open Microsoft Store version, go to Settings and then Connect, generate the code from there
• Open Steam version, go to Settings and then Connect, this time you paste the code you previously generated

You should now have your progress in both versions and synced automatically each time you play.

Note: to get better performance in Steam version, right click Asphalt 9 in your Library, go to properties, and type -directx in Launch Options, that will force the game to use Directx 11 and will give overall smoother experience

Also why are the OC chips still not active on Windows.
The new Singapore track looks awesome as a concept, but its not practical. I am a designer and at the end of the day the track is supposed to be the star. At the moment all the moving parts and lighting effects, that is going on there, is blinding. The biggest problem that I have found, and this is from alota players, is that the track is so busy, that you cant really see where the track is. All the Chevron indicators get swallowed up by all the lights and moving parts. Please revisit. Actually i would suggest you do an MP race through Singapore and tell me how the experience was. There is no option on Windows to resize the game window (to 1280x800, 1600x900 etc). The "Full Screen: Off" option is practically Full Screen with the taskbar overlapping the game window. The "Resolution Scaling" option appears to be totally useless.

I was playing Split-Screen with a buddy of mine and I noticed two problems.

1. We raced on "Island Tour" on "Caribbean Island" and shortly after starting, the propeller plane (that flies overhead and then flies away) audio was being played on a loop from the car itself. This did not go away at all until the race ended.
2. After finishing the above event, as it was a point-to-point event, the screen did not fade to black after crossing the finish line, resulting in the car continuing to drive into a barrier further ahead. After respawning (since that KO'd the car), it flew over the barrier, which is of course out of bounds, which results in it getting respawned, but then it flies out again, ending up in a (at worst, severe) seizure-inducing visual effect.

I couldn't even download the game on Microsoft even though I had been playing A9 just fine before. So I tried steam and it worked. That should fix the overclock issue and possibly crashing. Ads is still a problem however.

Problem with graphics: My Asphalt Legends Unite game is not showing Dynamic Shadows at all on maximum graphics, it is instead using the same shading under the car from Asphalt 9.

Information:

• Windows system
• I tried it on both the Steam and MS store version, both of them did not show shadows on High graphics
• My integrated GPU information is attached
• I also attached a video of gameplay and a screenshot of my settings

Hopefully this can be fixed, as I was looking forward to experience the best graphics on my PC.

There another bug with the "Exit game" button. If I move the cursor straight on to the button through the Career button, the exit button doesn't get selected. Instead it's the career button that gets selected I have to move the from around to exit. As far as I understand it, and I'm not sure about this, the new engine can ONLY use the dx12 version. This is what makes the new useless reflections and other GPU eating effects of the new UNITE update possible in the first place.

There are plenty of games which aren't live service. Most of my games are either offline or have optional online functionality. Aside from battle royales there aren't that many live service games.

some 2011 and 2012 gpus support DX12, and all gpus made 2013 and onwards support DX12

gpu is the Radeon RX 5600XT, which is a performance-segment card from 2019, though its definitely more than good enough for ALU

anyway, have you made sure your gpu drivers are installed, and that your HDMI/DisplayPort port is also plugged directly facing your GPU, and not on the top of your case?

ok, so for the first sentence, the shadows and reflections in DX12 look much nicer, and the vegetation is also noticably better.
for the last sentence, "decent" pcs can be very vague since it matters from person to person, do know that the recommended requirements for this game is a GT 1030, literal display adapter from 2017. my pc has a cpu from 2016 (i5-6500), gpu from 2013 (R9 290 OC) yet it still runs it perfectly fine on 1080p max?

please define what exactly is "decent pc" and who exactly is complaining about these performance issues, the only one i can think of is some temperature and utilization bugs in rtx 3000 series, but thats gonna be fixed soon anyway, its clearly a bug.

@oak badger DX12 has been available for gpus from as early as 2011. Time moves forwards, not backwards. sure its good to have legacy DX11 compatability, but you cant expect that now

You can search "AMD driver" on Google, the first result will be AMD support, from there select your gpu and download an old driver

Any integrated graphics runs fine, and probably the worst (Intel HD 4600) runs at 60fps in 800x600. My gpu gets 340 fps, it's much lighter than any other games released in the last couple of years

I cannot play any Shanghai track, because it literally messes up my display drivers and I gotta restart my PC on a black screen that's looping
I have constant lags
I have slowdowns on several tracks
Game has a gazillion of visual errors or bugs
FPS limit doesn't work

I'm surprised by the sheer number of obvious bugs that this version was released with. While some of them could be seen as minor annoyances, they all contribute to bad user experience and break the gameplay. All spotted within the 1st hour of gameplay:
• Not showing fuel cost for special event races [!]
• Slipstream trails are invisible (sometimes showing up randomly) [!]
• Career mode button overlays the Exit button [!]
• The mouse cursor often does not disappear during the gameplay
• Still receiving double rewards in MP sometimes, resulting in getting negative trade coins & other weirdness
• Joining MP fails instantly sometimes, taking away fuel (restoring it on re-joining)
• MP disclaimer showing up after every restart of the game
• Inconsistent presentation of locked cars (some are dimmed, some not)
• Not showing rank points after races in MP season series [!]
• Notoriuously hangs on exit, to the point it has to be killed with the Task Manager [!]
• Update failed to install, game had to be re-downloaded on two PCs (happened to many users)
I'm pretty sure there's more... 🤦‍♂️

I forgot about the club data being cleared and usernames including the IDs - but maybe that's because of the crossplay thing, IDK. But now my game also crashed when I attempted to claim rewards from the MP season series (same issue as reported by @mild galleon above, I suppose) 🙃

Intel hd graphics doesn't support Vulcan but intel UHD graphics supports Vulcan which i use too
So it's all about the version we have in our CPUs
You can check them on interent whethere it supoorts vulcan or not by yourself too
