@spiral kraken I wrote a vertex-imitating fake 3D system that works with sprite stacking

#

then I made that "model" as an animated image with each new image being a higher level on the non-existent Z axis.

#

then I make it display onto a surface and I get that result.

(+adding shadows and what not)

It can be a much cleaner image as well by the way, I just tweaked it to be pixely. It's for a game jam where the game's resolution can't exceed 64x64 😂

@topaz kayak Dodge still remains a terrible car even if it looks OP. The other cars can easly beat it on longer tracks due to their higher top-speed. Its like comparing an acceleration beast (Donkervolt for example) to a high top speed beast (SLS AMG) in A8.

Not to mention comparing “starter” cars is kinda meaningless cuz I got LAF earlier than Vulcan.
