that depends on the nvidia graphics card what you have installed, the old open source driver cannot properly clock up and down the new cards - only the new nvk driver is better with the open source kernel driver - so it is easier to just use the closed source driver

the version doesnt matter because i use latest beta version for rtx 4060 which is 570.86.16

the beta version 570.86.16 works fine for me 🤷🏼‍♂️ , but i am not on debian - that is the main difference - i did not try the open driver for reasons yet.
Note: the game is anyway not official supporting proton / linux at all - so not sure if you get any good support here

not an issue, but i think it's really unfair that on the pursuit mode, the cops can literally auto snap to the targets (i played cops twice and just felt awful being able to literally boost straight into them without needing to try since it just locked on and got them')

The steam version has recently, for the past 3 days been giving me these game freezes for no reason.

Hey, not sure if this has been reported already, but the McLaren P1 seems to have a weird sound bug. It always sounds like it's gearing up or like a turbo's constantly spooling. Even if someone else is using the car in multiplayer, I hear the bugged engine sound no matter how far away they are. I’m on Steam, and I’ve had this happen on different PCs too, so it seems like it’s a game issue. Mobile has it too, but for some reason it's way less messy/noticeable

there's no egs issues channel yet so mind if i use steam issues for this one?

i installed the egs version of alu, and i couldn't log in with gameloft id because it gave me an access denied error (probably because i'm in russia). i completed the tutorial and tried linking my accounts with code, but the instructions weren't entirely clear to me in russian so i switched to english. that caused the game to restart... and then i got the free egs gift. i then proceeded to connect the accounts and i overwrote the fresh egs account that had the gift. what do i do now?

update: nvm i got the gift after restarting. whew

i guess they forgot a pack lol

I know there isn't any egs issues channel, so don't mind if i use steam issues channel ? (i already played on steam without issues)

So apparently my game on Epic Games constantly crashing while opening store or finishing a race, while on steam it never does that. Any clue how to fix it ? I lalready verified my game files, reinstall the game, and reinstall epic games, yet it still happened

I'm using Amd Z1 Extreme cpu, maybe this will provide some information on what's wrong with my EGS version of the game

How do i connet my epic to my steam to get the F40

either log in with the same gameloft id, or:

1. on both egs and steam, open settings - connect - connect with code
2. on steam, press "generate code"
3. on egs, press "input code" and type the code shown in steam
4. select profile b in egs (just make sure it's the correct one). you'll be logged out of the steam version after that, don't worry about that
5. if you didn't get the gift after the game restarts (or you got the gift before connecting), restart the egs version
