#Nerf (at least some of) the silver wolf bs battles

It's been alleged that we'll have the battles of the legacy bs13 for the boss strike next week. Those fights were fine in the z2 era since players back then would have some very strong promo units against them (the elemental rover, for instance, would be helpful enough). Today though the units we have at hand are much weaker against most of those battles (especially battle 5 & 6 which are literally impossible to beat rn). It might be worth considering a nerf for at least some of them to keep things balanced and fun for everyone.

I think it's honestly too late to make any changes

Hopefully Madrona will incorporate the data from this BS when they're considering BS changes in the future

I don’t disagree, but I think the worst part is the lack of consistent anti air. The chunook itself can, yes, wipe out your midline, but it’s worse that we have to spend at least 2-3 turns just trying to eliminate it with some pretty sad options. Which in turn ruins formations cause then everything else can attack you like the fury or thunder. It’s why I wish they just pre-ranked the sky raptor like they did in the original strikes which would help alleviate so many issues. All they did was take away the timers for r1-3 which doesn’t help much tbh

If you dont rush your skyraptor your best options are literally chucker (which is a crit merchant with low offense + terrible defensive stats), demoman (costs nanos), or maverick (who tf ranked this thing up + rng attack)

oh and I guess AA turret

If you had the mental fortitude to rank those up to R9

And they all have cons imo.
Chucker can easily get one shotted, Maverick’s attack is random (can also be one shotted), vet and demo are nano so f2p players can’t get the more consistent ones. Pelican is actually a viable option and can survive a bit longer, but again, it’ll take 2-3 turns for it to kill any air units which in that time the enemy formations could kill or heavily cripple your formation

The reason silver wolves do a lot of damage and scale up a good amount in the lvl 50s onward is due to the units available we have such as maulers and sentinel frags
