Just like Boss Strikes, this Boss Event is different and more adopted to the idea I had from other game like NIKKE and Elsword

During the event there are a boss with crazy inflated HP where the whole guild have to fight together to kill it. Lets say each member have 3x attempts each day to deal damage to the boss. Once the boss dies, the boss would respawn with increased level, more hp and additional difficulties like more attack patterns and such. Once the event ends, everyone gets the reward depending on how far each guild has progressed.
In NIKKE there are a strong boss at the final level/stage with literal infinite hp and the reward would be changed from basing on the amount of boss kills that the guild has succeed to do to total damage dealt to the boss.

So it will be just more into single-target fight aspect instead of wave-based/AoE-dmg-based fight.

Great idea, gonna suck for the small guilds, but it’s pretty cool.

spiral flame

truth, but already regular boss strike already sucks for small guilds

Sucks to be a little guy 😔

HP could scale off guild size to compensate tbh

reef cloud
#

Yeah that’d be nice.

#

There’s already scaling for guild size in BS just make a similar system for this

reef cloud
#

Doesn’t it cap out at 100 members though?

#

So everyone with more just gets extra goodies.

#

But hey, more content is more content I guess.

cloud iron
#

I mean yeah It does but for a guild boss you would give smaller guilds a smaller HP boss and increase the HP with more players in the guild

#

It would still probably work out better for larger guilds but that’ll always be the case

versed linden
#

It should work out better for larger guilds

#

Why would there be an incentive to have a small guild in the first place

reef cloud
#

Why shouldn’t there be?

spiral flame
#

i mean guilds and friends in game are there for a reason

#

if there was incentive to be solo play why even have guilds in the first place

#

if you do not use the features the devs implemented, why keep them

HSC turns into 20 guilds of 10 people CryLaugh

Goodfellas has 100 guilds of 10

Not a bad idea. Id say for now they should do a boss rush event which would be easier to code in the meantime

dense current
#

just do it on a rotating basis

#

BS than this and repeat

spiral flame
#

remember invasion events used to exist too

versed linden
spiral flame
#

the game has geared towards guild play in the long term anyways why should there be incentive for small guilds then, it'll be a constant cycle of swapping guilds to smaller ones for benefits and then back to big ones for their benefits

limpid mist
#

The issue of small guilds being hurt by this will go away once the playerbase expands a lot more

versed linden
#

It’ll never go away it just means small guilds will become big guilds

spiral flame
#

why is this guy telling the truth

versed linden
#

Any guild with 20-30 people will still be worse off which is completely normal

#

You should be incentivized to grow your guild

dense current
#

who knew in a game with guilds, the bigger guilds will always have the advantage. SHOCKER

Cool idea, but I don’t see the reason to make this a guild event.

The whole concept is that you physically cannot do it solo, it’s another event that gets everyone to work together towards a common goal

#

Guilds need more content than one event every 3 months or so

median pier
#

I would rather see more actual multiplayer than another guild leaderboard event

versed linden
#

Solo?

median pier
#

It’s not really multiplayer the way i see it. Anything that has a guild leaderboard can just as easily have a solo leaderboard. It would be scaled differently but ultimately it seems you participate in it solo. I want to see more player interaction. I personally would like to see events outside of grind for the leaderboard.

#

We already have bs for that and I would rather not have the event trend be all grinding events

cloud iron
#

I wouldn’t really call this suggestion a grinding event as it’s been outlined. Guild bosses generally give you a set amount of attempts per day, then you score based on the total damage you dealt. In all likelihood you’d play like 20 minutes a day in the event.

Yeah, Boss Strike will need your full time grind for scores, but my idea is more limited so it doesnt take up much of your time as a change of pace
