Maybe I'm the crazy one, but this really doesn't look like it makes sense. I didn't question it at first just 'oo a faster way to pass turns with zero risk'. But like, why can't they hit the Wimps? Is this just how it's supposed to be? More of a curiosity question as I am unsure if this is a bug

Fair enough, as long as I'm not abusing any bug unknowingly 
- Indirect = goes through everything
- Precise = blocked by full blocking, anything less doesn’t block
- Direct = blocked by anything with partial blocking and above
- Contact = blocked by everything
I like to think the Pelican's bottom piece is just really long
