#The ability to “capture” certain units (with conditions)

Conditions being
1: Your current level must be double that of the level requirement to produce said unit
2: Said unit must be human/something that could reasonably be captured, for example your not reasonably capturing a zombie and turning it over to your side, but an enemy rifleman? Sure.
3: in order to capture them the final hit to them should be from one of the non lethal/riot control units.

what exactly are you going to do with a captured unit? Does it get added to your unit collection or is it just for show?

Because if it gets added into your collection tbat opens the door for a boatload of problems

While I think on a fundamental level this idea is cute, I do love Fire Emblem Fates, there's just a million reasons why this doesn't work. Like, first of all, at current level cap, the best possible thing we could recruit with this would be... Allied Raider Cannoneers, lol.

To stress the point, at level 70, you wouldn't be able to recruit a frontier minuteman

the core idea of it is to let you fill out your ranks with worthless nanopod units which are completely irrelevant towards the meta.

the original proposition was poor all be it because like that would let you get some viable units later down the line if the max level was updated later

however this more so for the- truly ass units.

Someone I had talked to in suggestions had a pretty good idea regarding capturing enemies, but they weren't usable as units. they were a currency kinda. And that currency was used for a manner of things you could do with PoW's. I wonder if I can find it, It was really cool...
