#Give Tempest Anti-Aircraft Capabilities

We have planes now. Most attacks have AA variations including the regular Gunner, the TF2 Heavy, the NORMAL Heavy Gunner, and the machine gun attack on tanks.

Even the Hornet has anti-air missile variation!

Despite being designed for AA combat, the Tempest CANNOT target aircraft.

This thing desperately needs a buff somehow. At the level it's unlocked at [level 31], firing 16-19 (x4) damage is pitiful ESPECIALLY considering most formations here have armor or strong, tanky frontline units.

A Rank 1 Basilisk outshines a Rank 6 Tempest, and later promo units with minigun like attacks [as ADDITIONAL attacks, not their sole attack] like the NT-1 Mechanical Tank or Armored SUV straight up make this thing obsolete in any role.

Proposal; because the Tempest was original designed with AA capabilities in mind, introduce an AA-type attack which is powerful enough to stand on its own and give the Tempest a unique dual-purpose role in the battlefield.

Thus, this unit can serve as a late-game buffed Anti-Aircraft Turret type unit that has the armor and HP to tank incoming attacks

Original Quote -
"Slow and heavily armored, the Tempest was originally designed as a mobile anti-aircraft battery. But Raiders don’t use many aircraft, and the Tempest’s four massive machine-gun barrels can be aimed at ground targets just as effectively. When you need to lay down a ridiculous quantity of lead, the Tempest should be your go-to vehicle."

Despite being mentioned as an anti-aircraft battery in the patch notes, ironically, in the game itself it cannot target air units.

a midgame unit that is completely outshown by some early game units like tf2 heavy feels sad indeed

#

damage buff would do a lot for it
