Lots of ideas here are "this should be buffed" or "that feature should be added" with little consideration for long term power creep, which is the phenomenon that newer additions to games tend to be stronger over time which can make the original obsolete. I've seen this kill games before and I just want Madrona Games and other suggesters to keep power creep in mind.

Buffs help with power creep, power creep is inevitable, best you can do is either make older obsolete units viable with new resources, or a workaround

Banlists (meaning a restriction to deployment limit such 0, 1, 2, 3 copies of the unit) for real time random pvp is something i want to see implemented. Pvp between friends shouldn’t have any banlist as long as it doesn’t provide any rewards

Reception to it actually revived old comps by making obsolete units work with current unite

Z2 merely dipped their feet with a deployment limit of 3 for problematic units and never went lower. 3 LSW is still too much to deal with per battle. However, if LSW had a deployment limit of 1, it is suddenly not much of a headache to deal with.
