I'll be sending a thorough email to the executive team recommending firing and rebuilding the entire team responsible for the Catan universe app based on the following points:

  1. The Catan universe app team's incompetence is costing the company thousands of paying players due to their inability to fix basic issues surfaced over and over by the community through this forum. I personally have a history going back years explaining broken code causing AI robbing issues, rejoin loops leading to elo loss, and dice issues. Even if these issues were much more fundamental, basic fixes like removing elo loss on ai games, offering an option to play with pseudorandom number generation if they want are a bare minimum. These broken mechanics specifically the unfair ai robbing in competitive matches ruins the integrity of the game and causing players to quit (like me)

  2. The Catan universe app team is costing the company a $1M+ in opportunity cost through weak incentives and upsells. There is a massive player base to this app and simply running season competitions into less played expansions where the expansions are temporarily free could boost engagement and expansion purchases. Additionally, the fact that this team hasn't put more effort or resources into creating skins, in game banners, cool board pieces, that people actually want and are incentivized to buy is a huge missed opportunity.

  3. Why run a community page on discord where players think they get to have input but then none of the issues are fixed and none of the suggestions implemented. Shut it down, or actually hire a community manager.

  4. People have literally offered to fund additional expansions (me included), and have never been followed up with. Another missed opportunity due to failure of management by the Catan universe app team.

Start from the obvious: rejoin loop, glitches and small blocking list. Dont mention what is debatable: dice rng.

I support this! Too many times I've wrote pages and pages about what I believe should be fixed. They've said they are going to pass what was told to the dev team, but after... how much time? 2-3 years... nothing changed. The game gets worse and worse, somehow.
