Next game, the same. I tried chatting even before I put my village down and the messages are not showing up in the chat screen.

I just downloaded the game through Steam and that version works well for me.

I'm on android and having same issue.

Can't chat and seems to be signaling a connection issue as there is a spinner in bottom right corner.

This has happened 6 games in a row.

Game loads fine and see others place their settlements and roads.

I uninstalled and reinstalled on Android and game is working without this issue.

I had the most up-to-date install already, but...
