I found you either have to log in on a phone and quit game
or quickly load up cities and knights find a game and exit out
minor turtle

This happens to me regularly on Laptop+Windows+Steam and on Tablet+iOS. I am often rejoined with already finished games but end up in the middle of that game again. Then when I exit I'm losing ELO + karma.
