#Mouse Acting Odd on Android

I am using ShadowPC on Android. I have both a Samsung S22 Ultra phone and a TCL Tab 5G tablet.

On my tablet, the mouse cursor is still visible when in-game (and the tablet's cursor is shown over the PC's cursor when not in game, here in-game you can see the tablet's cursor, the black with white outline) and it stop when it hits the edge of the screen, making it impossible to turn fully around.

This issue does not happen on the phone. The phone is not good with Shadow, though. Everything lags like crazy. Even the audio lags. The tablet plays fine beyond the crazy latency because I'm routed through the wrong datacenter (everyone in my region is, for some reason).

Anyway, does anyone know how to fix this odd cursor issue? I do not have the Quick Menu overlay on the tablet, and the Smart Mouse, Locked/Unlocked Cursor, and similar settings are not shown in the Shadow app on either device.

Has no one ever had this issue before? I'm entirely stumped here. I have found some apps that claim to be able to fix this, but none seem to work. Most seem to simply lock the cursor, which is not what I want because it would impact EVERY app, effectively making the mouse useless outside of games, and even in game menues, and one (Mantis Gamepad) simply doesn't work on new Android versions because it refuses to connect to wireless debugging on new app versions, and old app versions rely on a non-existant permission setting that was removed a few Android versions ago.

My phone does that too sometimes and my is a S26 ultra but when I uninstall and reinstall the app it fixes it

I've fully factory reset the tablet. Still happens.

Oddly, it does not happen on my Samsung S22 Ultra, but the phone just can't handle Shadow for some reason, despite having much better hardware. It stutters, thr ping is 4 times higher, the Shadow keeps disconnecting despite being on the exact same connection as the tablet, etc.

There are a lot of possible explanatilon for the différences, you need to provide a lot more details

#

Are you using Bluetooth on phone (gamepad/mouse/keyboard), wifi ? 2,4GHz or 5GHz ?

#

how is the wireless signal on both ? is the phone getting hot while using shadow ?

I am using Bluetooth keyboard and mouse on both. That same keyboard and mouse. I am honestly not sure about the wifi, as it doesn't tell me in the wifi settings, but it should be 5G. I am in the same room as the router. The signal is good on both devices, and no, they are not getting hot.

I don't see how connection could effect the mouse hitting the edge of the screen...

if 2.4GHz wifi it could not play nicely with bluetooth, even with 5GHz it can happen

that's for latency, regarding mouse lock, there's maybe nothing you can do, you may open a shadow support ticket to see if there's some known workaround with TCL UI, or accessibility things to disable to prevent issues
