#Booting stuck on "Interactive Shell" terminal screen

Hi,
I didn't find this exact issue after searching for boot issue threads, sorry if it already came up.
Today I've been trying to boot several times in a row, it stays stuck on that screen (unfortunately the Shadow client doesn't allow me to zoom in):

Then after a while it fails with a V-101 error. I haven't had any software update since the previous time I booted succesfully, and I haven't been made aware of any maintenance.

open a support ticket, but it's possible your instance is tanked and you will need to factory reset

That's a work account, so I can't afford to lose the data in there.

After waiting a while and retrying, I can connect again. Time to do some backups.
