#Mouse acceleration keeps re-enabling on Shadow PC

I’m on Windows 11 using the latest non-beta Shadow client. Windows mouse acceleration (Enhance pointer precision) keeps re-enabling itself.

Path: Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Mouse

Loop: I turn it OFF, then after ~1–few minutes (often right after a brief mouse freeze/unfreeze) it’s ON again.

Any fix to make it stay OFF permanently? (Shadow setting / driver / service / etc.)

it's a default setting for all users that is reseted at each boot

#

why do you disable it ?

#

in cloud environments with emulated mouse driver it has a few advantages, best is just to disable it only on local machine

Hey, I tried leaving it ON too, but the mouse still freezes for ~1s every minute or so (then unfreezes). So keeping it enabled doesn’t fix the stutter. Any idea what’s causing the periodic freeze/driver reset and how to stop it?

Mouse Polling rate is maybe too high for your network and latency

Lower it to 500Mhz and see if it improves things
