To solve a VM booted without Internet connection problem is very simple.
Shutdown your Shadow PC (preferably via Start Menu - Shutdown), wait 15 minutes and try again.

It use to be worse. Shadow pc has come a long way. But yeah, 60 bucks just to get locked out of your gaming is harsh
Now it's showing a globe and saying no internet
