I am NOT wrong when I say this because I looked into it further myself.
EAC got DDosed which is WHY a lotta the games INCLUDING VRC are unplayable under a vm. We don’t know how this happened. But we do know that they are working to the best of their abilities to get everything working again. What I’m going to assume here is that VRC will be the LAST of their worries.

The only reported ddos i could find was around Christmas, but this happened a couple weeks ago
Eac blocked vrchat before Christmas aswell so that specific one cant be the case for this block

not sure if anyone else has seen this so i apologize if this is stuff that's already known, but this would suggest that the newer version of EAC is to blame for the VM block and that a potential solution would be reverting to the previous version before this whole mess started (at least as a temporary solution until something actually does get worked out)

i just wanted to see if the whole thing tupper said about "not being able to make configurations on their end to fix the issues" actually held up
i don't blame the dev team for any changes made to EAC, like they can't do anything about what Epic does with it, but they more than likely can control what version of it they use
