#mouse delay only when playing games

lower your shadow bitrate, do speedtest, play wired instead than using wireless, provide more details : https://discord.com/channels/460948857304383488/1210660461457051758
I’ve noticed it’s only happening on overwatch, currently running on 35 ms latency, 15mb bandwidth, and I’m not running ultra high settings but Overwatch also has an issue with smart cursor where it shoots my camera all over the place, and if I unlock it I get a ton of extra delay + the dpi goes all the way down
Every other game has no issue it feels like 35ms of delay if you even feel it at all it’s specifically Overwatch, going to test it on more today to see if it might just be some games yes others no
Local machine: i5 9400h, gtx 1650, 8gb ram, wifi 5
Mouse: pulsar x2h mini wireless 1khz
Sorry for the late reply
Usbhid forwarding doesn’t work with the mouse either
It’s normal it’s for users with <30ms
Gotcha
Well try to reduce polling rate
May also try while I’m at it to set ffmpeg as decoder in settings and make sure if it’s laptop that GPU is set to maximum performance
Mouse need to be locked/smart mouse enabled when playing fps games
The local device is as debloated and optimized as possible and some registry tweaks too but I’ll swap the decoder
Set the decoder to ffmpeg, gonna try lowering the polling rate on the mouse
I’ve also noticed it really only happens on overwatch, tried 3 other games with settings completely cranked and I didn’t notice any serious latency at least compared to Overwatch, it would bring my dpi to a crawl and noticeably feel like 5x the delay
I do have my bitrate set to 50, not really sure if that’s optimal but I saw another user having it set to 50 and just copied what worked
