Only Shadow Support can change emails, and you if don't access to that one anymore, might be a bit tricky to get it back.

How would I go about emailing them like what's an example that I can like ask them and what would I need to prepare to verify that I own this account.
Tell exactly what happened. The email that was used to create your account, you no longer have access to it.
Ask them what's needed to prove that you're the owner of that account and if there's any possibility to recover it + change the email to one that you have access.
Just send proof of payment you probably got a receipt
It said it for like a split second "oops, you already have a session"

Mines doing the same thing and I was just on it and it said failed to update now it wont login
