I fixed it, but another problem arose

I figured out whenever I put my refresh rate higher the computer started having frame drops and being more stutters

When I go back to 60 hz it returns to normal, but I like competitive games and can go up to 144hz but if I do my game will stutter. What can I do? And is there any troubleshooting on this?

give detailed specifications of your local hardware (CPU+GPU+Local Display model and brand)

if you have a 60Hz, display you won't get any benefits from pushing or requesting higher frame rate

if you have a 144Hz display, it could be your local hardware ((i)GPU) that doesn't decode fast enough or struggle to decode and render at requested refresh rate
