I contacted support, its been well over 24 hours.
I could expect atleast a receipt email once payment was recieved, right?

Usually, an email with the confirmation, yes.
Check the spam box.
Uncaptured payment is another possibility, and you will be refunded soon.
But wait for the Support team to get back on you.
Nothing in my spam either, I do think this is a situation of an uncaptured payment. I will wait for the support team. Is there a phone number associated with the company for billing?

Usually, they respond with 24 hours. At max 72 hours when under high demand (which doesn't seem to be the case for this week).
Except weekends, as they are closed.
