I forwarded the dongle usb to shadow, and this popped up.. how do i fix??

there's no fix for that, it's either it works or not, this is mostly due to latency / bandwidth that should be optimal and for some device it's just not reliable.

there's maybe more optimal things to do :

  • connect your local machine to router using direct network connection to router (ethernet)
  • install tailscale and connect it to same account on both : shadow and your local machine
  • install slimevr on both
  • configure trackers in local SlimeVR
  • connect from shadow SlimeVR to local SlimeVR using local tailscale IPv4
  • play
