The internet ipv6 so Xfinity can work

#

It won't stay off

#

I unchecked it and when I go back to see if it saved it doesn't

So windows then.. Hmm It shouldn't re-enable. That's odd.

#

Wait.

#

Why are you using a RedHat Virtual ethernet?

#

That's usually something you'd find on a VM.

#

It's quite literally what Shadow uses.

#

If you're on XFinity and are able to access Shadow, you're likely not using IPv6 on local device or you've already disabled it. You don't need to do anything on Shadow itself.

Its my gf account I'm not using Xfinity I'm trying to fix it for her so she can get in

She needs to disable IPv6 on her own device.

Ok

#

How does she get there

potent lake
#

The same way you did... Unless shes not on windows?

#

I got in she can't

#

She's using Xfinity

potent lake
#

Has she disabled IPv6 yet?

next canyon
#

No that's what I'm asking how can she do it

potent lake
#

Like I just said.. It's the same way.. But on her own PC.. Unless she's not using Windows.. Like I literally just said 🙂

#

If she's on windows, she takes the exact same steps to get to the network properties as you did yourself on the Shadow.

#

If on MacOS I can get a guide.

If it's iOS, Android or ChromeOS I don't think it's possible.
