Every so often, I will have a latency spike of nearly 5000 or higher. No idea why, my internet stats are fine.

What's the model number of your router and or modem?

what is puma creep? googled it but didnt find anything interent speed/connection related, jsut shoes

Some Intel Puma powered routers/modems have an issue where they will creep in latency until it goes from ms to seconds.
