Oh ok, I was told different
Ok, but Are we allowed to upgrade the system our selves or it's against your Terms of Service to upgrade it ourselves?
Only when it's officially possible via Windows updates then you could update to Windows 11.
Upgrade it by yourself with another way will possibly break your Shadow and you have to reset your Shadow.
Windows 11 is possible with all Shadow tiers but boost and discovery. I think Shadow will do something by themselves so that it will be possible once Windows 10 isn't supported anymore.
So upgrading it with windows 11 health check to see if the OS is compatible will break the shadow pc?
The health check itself can be made. But when it says Windows 11 isn't supported then it would possibly break your Shadow, when you try to update Windows by yourself like with an ISO or something like that.
I profer to use the health check anyway as it's the proper way to do it
but If i do it now, will my shadow PC get terminated as it's says windows 10 on the boost plan
No, it will not. But when you get Windows 11 work then maybe you don't get full Shadow support anymore.
Ok
but when you said full support, that means if the Shadow PC is having issues with like the motherboard or something, that support won't be available for me?
Also my Shadow PC just frozed up and I'm not going to continue with the upgrade to windows 11
You should ask the Shadow support about that. A year ago a few users haven't got support after updating to Windows 11 on boost because it's hard to tell when something don't works if it's because of Windows 11 or other things
I just fixed it I switched it from UDP to TCP then back to UDP
