Open a support case and send in the launcher logs, please. Looks like more than a few people have this problem. You can try several times and it should start at some point though. But the more cases are opened on it, the sooner it will be fixed.
I did send the logs, but it does not start i feel like i have tried 50 times now 🙂
Doesn't seem to be connected to the launcher version.
I tried Browser, Prod, Beta and Alpha.
Same on all of them, data center DEFRA.
As Little Johnny said, please send logs and open a ticket including the logs code and issue.

seems like the defra datacenter setup needs some more work.
Sunday was buggy, yesterday was great for a few hours without any issues, today sth else again
You can't switch on the fly, you'd need to ask support on how best to change. (requires new account for said other datacentre)

Well ofc only if you get the confirmation the at the ticket is opened, if you don't get that then liklihood it's not opened.
There's the Send Logs button in the Help Section, it gives you a code to include in the ticket.
Indeed, no error code, which is why the logs and tickets are important.

I created a new account in the UK. I'm looking for a refund for my German account as I have not been able to use it properly since purchase
I opened 2 tickets from the German account requesting a refund
If you got the confirmation email with case ID. It's likely you're not being ignored, just not waiting long enough due to ticket loads. If you didn't get that confirmation, then either issue with the email or tickets aren't being opened on your account.

Recovery I assume. Meaning it failed to start so many times that Windows had a fit. Your options are to contact support for a bootloader fix, or reset your Shadow.

After creating a new account in the UK and paying again all the problems went away. I really hope they honor the refund I requested twice now. I was subscribed for less than a week and was experiencing problems every single day! It's clear to me that they have not dedicated adequate resources (both computational and support staff) for the demand at the Frankfurt data center. I think shadow should care about their customers a bit more, further than just saying sorry for the inconvenience. Will definably be ditching this and buying a gaming PC asap.

Shadow are just a dishonest company
surely this is not legal, ignoring requests for a refund when the service clearly doesn't work for an extended period of time. I will report this to the EU consumer right body.
I urge everyone who is in the same boat as me to request a refund from this company who doesn't care about its customers! They cannot ignore all of us and get away with taking our money for a sub par service. Shame on you Shadow PC!
I only know that there's only a refund when it's clear it's Shadows fault and only after the issue is completely solved. There's no refund between having this issue and the issue is fixed.
So maybe ask again when your issue is really fixed
Iv already stopped using it as I don't have time for troubleshooting. I have 1 hour a day to play games. It's their job to troubleshoot.
They offered me €10 out of my €50 back. What a joke
That would be 6-7 days completely not able to using Shadow. Don't know how long you weren't able to not using shadow and if it was possible to use it in between. You have to write further with the Shadow support when you think it's not fair...

I give them one more week, if the issue is not resolved and reasonable refund offered, I quit the subscription and hit the internet with bad (realistic) reviews.
I cant even start the stream now,it just pops right out into the launcher with text 'shadow off' bruh

Are there going to be refunds?
When the problem is because of Shadow then there can be refunds when the issue is fixed. There's no refunds as long as the issue is still active in most cases.
So the trick to avoid refunds is to just never fix the issue?
Make a ticket, make sure your issue is escalated to engineering, when a fix is put out, they'll go down the list for compensation.
Also this post itself is for the exact issue on the title.. Connecting to then Shadow is off. at Frankfurt Just an FYI for people.

Yes It worked Yesterday without Problems and today this morning too. i also have the Power Edition so i Pay 50€

I reset my Shadow about one and a half hour ago and its still Not finished OK i get it could Take a litle longer but is it normal for it to say Aktiv and Not Off?
