This error has been preventing me from accessing my pc constantly.

I have the same problem. I made a ticket months ago and went back and further sending logs and trying troubleshooting on my end from their instructions. I still have the problem today.

for the technical explanation : if for some reason (network outage, something drops the connection between local shadow client and server), the server connection may takes some time to timeout, so if you attempt to reconnect it will give that message thinking you already have a connected client and offering either to disconnect it or to connect as an extra screen

in most cases it's network related, linked to current network congestion in between your local machine and shadow servers, bad wifi, network adapter issue, cheap internet router....

If this continue for another week i will file a chargeback with my bank because at that point its just a straightup scam
