Hi,
Whenever I am downloading games via Steam lately my Shadow stream begins to experience massive Lag. I see upwards of 200ms of Latency and it becomes a stuttery mess. Its near impossible to use while in the mist of downloading. I've tried to limit the Steam bandwidth and that helps a little. Usually I have to go to the network stream settings for Shadow and reduce it to around 25-30mbs (I usually leave it on 50mbs default due to my ultrawide display).
I also experience random drop outs, not related to my local network, where it just disconnects. I can reconnect fine but when it happens during gameplay its very disruptive, especially during multiplayer games.
I've had a reset of my Shadow, tried changing between Beta and Normal clients, changed my local router and checked it.
I'm paying for the highest tier of Shadow and honestly, I was happier a few years ago on basic paying £30 less a month and getting pretty reliable service. I'm not sure what I get now can stand up to that.
Please look into improving your network stability and why Steam has begun to impact your services.
