I am playing on my laptop with my controller plugged in but shadow keeps adding duplicates of the controller. any advice on how to stop this?

Looks like one is showing due to ShadowUSB drivers being installed maybe? Not sure, uninstall the drivers then check back.

wired gamepad should not appear here as on MacOS, except for a few controller it only works in bluetooth

question, is the controller paired in bluetooth and wired here ?

if you want to play it over bluetooth you should not connect it in USB
