Did you get any error message beforehand?
No.. kicked me out.. gone back into the launcher got that, went in help and shut it down now its stuck on closing all the time even if i relaunch the app...
been stuck on shadow is turning off 7 mins now...
Close the launcher and let it sit for a bit, the VM shut itself down eventually

i got a BSOD error yes, didnt read what it said underneath

No worries at all, I think this is the start of some issues with a certain data center they haven’t caught onto yet. Myself and another person on here have been experiencing the same issues today, both of us in the UK, same as you. Same issues, same data center, can’t be a coincidence.

In your launcher settings, in ‘Controllers & USB’ - under USB, does it say ‘Install drivers’ (like my screenshot’ or ‘Uninstall drivers’ and ‘Clear redirected devices list’

All this has me really confused, everyone who has experienced this so far much all have one contributing related factor on their Shadow.. just trying to pinpoint exactly what it is
Mine just gone back to the original bsod and saying windows failed to load and stuck shutting down again.. got to be something wrong somewhere if we're not the only ones .
Well I give in tonight when I did get it working couldn't get the game to work as some dam mod has broke it and spent an hour trying to find which and then I get the bsod again lol..not my night tonight...
Chances are there’s an application or something somewhere on our Shadow that has caused them to become bricked, we just don’t know what it is yet.
So, i was not able to find anything, and I also completely Uninstalled shadow on my Rasberry Pi4, phone, and PC and then reinstalled them. After, i tied to log in and it behaved the same on all apps. Although, i would note that it gets stuck in the boot up and shows the screen preview, and the screen it is previewing is stuck on a window before the boot menue where it is saying to select a keyboard. Do you think this would be the issue, since the servers are stuck logged in on your guy's end?
@glad wasp , I provided my troubleshooting methods above, in case they help. I really need to access my tools on my Shadow PC today before 5pm PST for a big project, so any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I just dont want to be locked out and blow a deadline
You could ask support for a link to your files in the mean time whilst they investigate but I’m not sure what else they can do at this time apart from run basic diagnostic & repair tools at their disposal. And if Support can’t troubleshoot it then they pass it onto the Data Center team for investigating. Sorry to hear about your deadline but there’s not much we can do.
All I’ve done to get even a few minutes of access before it inevitably blue screens me, is just uninstall my ShadowUSB drivers and restart my internet connection. That got me a few minutes but that was it. I hope you manage to get in and do what you need to do.
Im having the same issue, there is any way to fix it now?
i filed a report with support and they did a windows refresh last night and it worked. However i have woke up this morning same problem, i have also tried finding the way to factory reset my VM but no joy i cant find the option for the life of me
So its still not fixed then.. Doh.. Pretty sure to do a factory reset you need to do it from the website..
If i do a factory reset, what would be the expected process for data backup, or do I just loose everything? My bsod error still issue isn't resolved after I have been talking with support since early yesterday and today with limited responses.
You can ask Support for a link to your files that you can download to your local machine before the reset request is made as a form of backup. But a reset will completely remove everything on your main C drive (any additional storage data is safe from the reset).
