#Can't the subscription be canceled due to unpaid invoice?
46 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
As per https://discord.com/channels/460948857304383488/1021501709752750190 you will need to contact support.
My English is not sufficient and the translation can sometimes give incorrect results. Do I need to open a support ticket for my question?
For anything billing related you need to open a support ticket via your account webpage yes.
I understand So lastly, why did you only delete my question in the chat? You're right to delete it, but it's really weird that you keep other people's posts and just delete mine.
Because you opened this post, didn’t want people answering there and here, just looks messy.
👍🏻👍🏻
Wait wait
I randomly came across a page on Google, I read it and it says you can cancel before the payment date. Thank you for your service, but I do not want to use it anymore. I do not have any money.
If this is really the case, why should I pay for a product I don't use?
You will have to ask Shadow Support, only they know the answer
This is community based help.
Well yes.
Cause you said you have an unpaid invoice and you apparently don’t know why? Only they can answer
To summarize the question. I wanted to cancel a product I no longer use. However, as they state on their page, it is necessary to cancel before paying.
I don't want to pay for something I don't want to use.
This is how I will create a support ticket
🤷♂️
I’m not really understanding you any more. All you need to say in the ticket is what the title of the post is. Then they’ll be able to answer
I couldn't understand anything from you either. I just already created a ticket.
What’s your native language?
Ah okay.
It sounds like your subscription already renewed but your payment failed. You cannot cancel a subscription with an unpaid invoice without first paying for the invoice. You would have needed to cancel the subscription before your payment due date. Only Support can help you from here.
I didn't even think something like this would happen. Could something this ridiculous really happen? Why should I cancel my subscription while I'm using it? This is the point where we really need to cancel. And we can't cancel here either. What's the point if I cancel after paying the money?
It sounds like maybe there's some confusion as to how the subscription cancellation process works. If it helps, when you cancel the subscription, it doesn't stop you from using it immediately. Your subscription will simply cancel at the end of the billing cycle. For instance, if your subscription renews on the 1st of each month, but you cancel on the 15th, you can still use your Shadow until the 1st.
I don't want to use it anymore. This is exactly what I want to talk about.
Well, if we do something like this, the server is in the USA right now and if you change the country to Germany, maybe I won't cancel it.
I know you said you do not want to use it anymore. I'm explaining why you would have needed to cancel the subscription before it was due to renew.
We can't help you with anything related to your account here, however. You'll need to contact Support.
.
Can't you help with this?
No, because I'm a Community Manager. I manage social media and marketing. There is no Support available on this server. You need to contact Support from your account page.
Almost everyone on this server is a user or a volunteer.
Yes, you can ask, they will tell you how to change your country.
Okay, finally, I have 2 questions.
When I created the account, I instantly selected USA. If I change it to Germany, will the location of the virtual computer also be changed to Germany?
2-) Is it possible if I change the flag logo at the top right of the shadow.tech page without creating a ticket?
- Changing the country will not change your data center. You would have to cancel and resubscribe for that to happen.
- Yes, you can change the country or language of the website at any time, but it won't affect your Shadow PC.
Thank you, I don't know where you are but good night
Or have a nice day
Is it really you in your profile?
Thank you so much, have a great night yourself. And yes it is.
