I'm trying to run a game I enjoy on this pc, but once I start it, the app freezes for a moment and then stays put on my screen despite being closed.

then you should look at the windows events, if you are able to see what's happening. Doesn't seem to be an issue with Shadow

or even the logs from fiveM

then maybe try to re install it, or check the FiveM logs, I can't tell exactly what happen without any error. Or try to record a video to show exactly what happening but i doubt it is a Shadow issue

The CPU jumps up too 100% when I launch it.

restart streaming doesn't change anything ? win+alt+r ?

You should open a support ticket, but I would say it's more related to network

What I’ve noticed is that the screw freezing correlates to the system’s CPU

So you just gotta watch that
