It’s stuck on “recovery” mode and refuses to start. If this issue isn’t resolved today, do I get a discount on next months bill for the lost day because I JUST BOUGHT the membership yesterday and already it has an issue.

Also I attempted to turn off my shadow through the help menu, waited 20 minutes and attempted to start it and I got the same results.

For any compensation (24hour no access due to fault of Shadow you ask Support)

Erm BSODs are a PITA to try fix this one is " This kind of error usually occurs if the system file is corrupted or missing". If it hasn't solved itself by now, you likely need to reset the Shadow via your Account webpage (will wipe C Drive and reinstall Windows)

Out of curiosity was there anything you installed/uninstalled on the Shadow before this occured?

I didnt understand the first part of what you said really but all I’ve installed were games and I did install and uninstall an EOS app for my Canon camera. I also installed and uninstalled streamlabs.

Hmm I guess unfortunately windows decided to die on you for no reason then 😦

Quickest way back would be to issue the reset (takes about one hour) unless you wanted to contact support to see if they can see anything their end (they can't access the shadow windows itself but maybe issue a more forceful shutdown to kick it into gear)

I mean, I don’t mind doing the reset, but what if this problem occurs again? I need to know the cause of the problem to avoid it.

It should say the times for support in your region on the support tab of your account where you open the ticket.
