I sppose because shadow network, because its a datacenter fornite doesn't make difference between VPN and datacenter. Also VPN's normally run on a datacenter so i think that's why.

Please access your help menu :grey_question: then scroll down and hit Shutdown Shadow, then wait 2-5 minutes and restart your client to resolve your issue http://botrexford.shdw.info/reboot.gif

And because some IP address, can detect the game as Virtual Machine. So try to shutdown your Shadow, wait 15 minutes and retry again. That's the minutes when you should receive a new IP ADDRESS range.
