I'm very new to Shadow and apologize if this questions been answered before, but i couldnt find it, But im on the power plan, and i can't quite get it to be smooth, im on 4k, and ive tried adjusting bandwith from 25-65 and nothing changes, its best around 40-50, but still jittery, same thing happens if i go down to 1440p and adjust bandwith. Either way, if im not in fullscreen it's smooth as butter and no input lag.

@fallen mica Please see the following tips for solving input lag issues http://botrexford.shdw.info/inputlag.png
iiiiiiii dont think thats it, already done most of that
i think there is something i am missing
windowed mode is smooth cause it actually runs on your local, that's not Shadow that has the focus so you think it's smooth
run a game on your Shadow for 10 minutes, then share the statistics (4 graphs) from the quickmenu filtered on 10 mins
in fullscreen
Alright I’ll start up a game, thank you
Do I just take a picture with my phone?
Of the 4 graphs
well you can if i'm able to see all 4 graphs
Okay
That alright?
Most of that was the first cutscene of rdr2 if that matters
Idk how the hell you get rid of packet loss, probably another result of highish ping/distance
wifi ?
What's your datacenter location ? can find it in the launcher, help panel full bottom
Montreal Canada
I can do a wifi test for you on my desktop
That’s the desktop that shadow is streaming to
And it’s wired not wifi btw
wired directly to your modem/router ?
Yep
It’s not because I’m limiting shadow to 60 fps right? Usually I have GeForce now set to unlocked
try to reboot your modem/router first
And it runs flawless, at first shadow felt better then got worse
Alrighty
Eh it’s still not very smooth
try to switch cable, switch port. If not, you will need to run another test to see if it is on your local end or ISP
I’m Think I’m just crap outta luck
Internet not good enough
Maybe if I streamed in 1080p but I only have a 4K tv so it’d look crap
you can also try in TCP mode in network settings from the quickmenu, but it will probably increase a bit latency
Mm it’s already noticeable
I’m thinking it could be that finding the exact right bandwidth to select would be the key
Cause like rn, it’s not toooo bad, probably playable
I was curious and found out GFN’s CA east servers are also in Montreal, and I know this may not be an accurate comparison, I feel almost zero difference closing GFN and returning to my desktop
Compared to shadow, although I’ve gotten it to be relatively close, it’s usable for sure
Ok I actually think I got it as close as possible to native
32 mb/s bit rate on 1440p 120 fps
